School-Based Mental Health

Welcome to the School-Based Mental Health Services at Bigfork School District

School-Based Mental Health services are provided to qualifying youth in the school and community environment. Bigfork School District, through an agreement with Logan Health, can offer mental health services throughout the school day. Services may include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychoeducation, crisis support and intervention, and administration of evidenced based assessments.

My name is Kerry Ford and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have a background in psychology and a Mental Health Counseling Master’s level degree through the University of Montana. I have been providing school and community based mental health services since 2011 and love being involved with children and families through the school.

I have a wonderful husband, Derek, and two amazing children, Lucy and Jack, who also attend Bigfork Schools. I love the lake and the mountains and am very much a summer person. You can find me fishing, hiking, floating, or snorkeling the beautiful lakes in the Flathead Valley in the summer. Chances are you won’t see me outside at all in the winter! Please reach out with any questions you may have for me about the services available to support you and your family.

My name is Josh Inabnit.  I am a mental health therapist for Logan Health School Based Mental Health.  I have been working in the field for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including youth group homes, children’s case management, and the schools.  I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2007 from the University of Montana and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

I’ve worked in Bigfork Schools since 2010 and provide counseling services to primarily middle and high school students and have also worked with students and families in the elementary school.

I enjoy working with children and families to enhance their experience here in school as well as in life.  Each client brings a different experience into my office, and it is rewarding to watch kids utilize our time together to grow and progress toward their goals.  We offer a variety of services in addition to counseling and are able to provide linkage to various resources in the community.

Mental Health Technician

My name is Derek Ford and I am a Mental Health Technician for Logan Health. I have a background in psychology and have been working in this capacity at Bigfork Schools since 2010.  I am married and have two children who also attend Bigfork Schools. I enjoy fishing, camping, and hiking and am involved with the Bigfork Children’s Theatre and Bigfork baseball.
